Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual awareness day celebrated every year on May 28 to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management.

Poor Menstrual hygiene can also cause fungal infection, reproductive tract infection and urinary tract infection. Every year, more than 23 million girls drop out of school due to a lack of menstrual hygiene management.

The theme of Menstrual Hygiene Day this year is ‘It’s Time for Action’.

Thus, ASC Group took an initiative to conduct a menstrual hygiene awareness event initiated by the NGO ‘Utthan’ in Harola village, community Centre sec 5 Noida.

More than 200 girls and Women turn out to attend the event and took equal participation in sharing their experience, problem, believes, and norms.

It was lead by Anju Agarwal, Director of ASC Group. ASC team took the equal initiative in making this program a huge success and to provide the necessary education for empowerment and upliftment for better future.

Also, it was followed by one-one interaction, discussion session and finally distributed with sanitary Pads for all the women and girl who attended and participated with great interest and Zeal to learn more.
